Have I bent? Have I broken?
Missed my chance to leave the words unspoken?
The light fades I hear the waves
A promise that no one could have kept safe
You wouldn’t believe the things I’ve seen
Scratched out my eyes just to know what it means
I’m coming apart at the seams
Spilling my guts
Show me what it means
Have I loved or have I lost?
Have I paid the price, calculated the cost?
Winter bleeds into night
Will I turn back, will I see what was right?
I won’t be a slave to the things I’ve seen
Open my eyes
Now I know what it means
Pull me together stitch up the seams
Hand in hand
We will learn what it means
I will not fade I will not rest
There's the strength of a world beating in my chest
Pull me back from the edge
There's the strength of a world beating in my chest
I believe in the end we’ll survive
I believe everything's alright
The strength of the waves
The strength of the flames
The world we leave will remember my name
Pity that I could not find the deluxe edition with LoG's Laid to Rest. Nevertheless I wanted to add Elegy to my BC collection. It's unique as it is a delightful mix of symphony and deathcore. The vocals are just the perfect "5th element" that allows both styles to intertwine perfectly. Ben Duerr is the perfect vocalist for this role. The Elegy trilogy at the end is just the apotheose of death-gasm, it's a good trip down to memory lane as I've seen S.O.I. live last year! sachavonkarl74
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022
Swedish Melodic Death Power! These guys can‘t do bad songs. See through me is another goosebumps song and Saw is one of their greatest kick ass songs. It starts with awesome drum work and a sick riff and the only thing you want is FUCKING MOSH! Sælzer Bub
